Drivers Charged in Dorset Police Christmas Crackdown in Court

3 motorists pulled over in Dorset Police's Christmas Drink and Drug Drive crackdown are in court today (Tuesday 14th January).

Dorset Police increased their presence on the roads throughout December.

Anyone stopped was breath tested and a total of 65 people were charged with drink or drug driving offences.

23 year old Joshua Andrew Thomas Cross of Weymouth, 44 year old Diane Catherine Asplen from Blandford and 26 year old Jamie Mark Toates of Lyme Regis, are all accused of driving with more than the legal maximum level of alcohol.

They're all appearing at Weymouth magistrates today.
