Dorset Charity Guides Parents Through Seperation

Wessex iPhone App

7:54am 15th January 2014

Parents dealing with separation can now take up free courses with a Dorset relationships charity as part of the 'Being Parents Apart' campaign.

A survey by Relate showed that 60% of separated parents in the South of England didn't believe in a 'good separation'.

Relate Dorset created the 'Separated Parents Information Programme' to help couples focus on the children's needs and communicate during the breakup.

For a limited time, parents can utlise a free four hour course where ex partners do not attend the same course as each other and groups are a mixture of resident and non-resident parents, giving each the chance to hear what it's like from the other side.
