7:53am 16th January 2014
Weymouth businesses will have the opportunity to find out where their money is going when they meet leaders of the Business Improvement District today (Thursday 16th January).
Leaders of the towns BID are meeting levy payers to talk about their direction for 2014.
2 public meetings are taking place in the Pavilion's Ocean Room at 4pm and 6pm.
Nigel Reed, Manager of the Weymouth BID said, "The purpose of these meetings will be to present our plans for 2014 and for levy payers to meet the Board of Directors plus newly appointed joint Chair Alistair Clarke.
We will also be hosting a questions and answers session at the end of each meeting.
It's very important that we share information and engage with local businesses in the levy payment area.
Good progress has been made in the first 4 months since the launch of the Weymouth BID in September 2013, but there is still a lot to do"
The Weymouth BID was established in September last year (2013).
