Dorset Museum Open for Free During Repair Work
8:05am 16th January 2014
Part of Dorset County Museum is closing next week for repairs, but the rest of the museum is open free of charge.
The work is on the wooden floor in the main hall of the Victorian Gallery which they say has suffered general wear and tear from visitors walking around.
The Museum's gift shop and popular tea room will be unaffected by the work and visitors are always welcome to come in for a look around and sit down with a cup of tea. In addition the current exhibition, The Heart that Fed, will also be open and many of the paintings and sculptures on show there are still for sale.
The Victorian Gallery closes for a week on Monday 20th January.
