Dorset Wine Makers Branch Out
8:55am 17th January 2014
Dorset winemakers Furleigh Estate have branched out into Bridport, but in an unusual way.
Palmers Wine Store has planted a vine from the Salway Ash vineyard at the entrance to their shop.
They've now established and have produced a bumper crop.
Mark Banham, Manager of PLamers Wine Store said: " We are looking forward to tasting the fruits of this year's Furleigh Harvest. There is a demand for all the Furleigh wines so we look forward to getting the 2013 vintage, although I don't think our mall number of wines will make much difference."
