Two Scrambler Bikes Stolen

Scrambler Bikes Stolen

9:37am 17th January 2014

Two scrambler bikes have been stolen in a raid by thieves near Swanage.

Dorset Police say offenders forced their way into two outbuildings and caravans at Worth Matravers sometime between Sunday 5th and Monday 6th January.

They also siphoned fuel and stole tools.

One of the motorbikes, a 140cc Demon, is white and has a distinctive leopard print seat. The other one is a 140cc Welsh Pitbike.

Police Constable Alex Macey, of Purbeck police, said: "I am now able to release a picture of the two stolen bikes.
"I urge anyone who witnessed the burglary, has seen anything suspicious in the area at the time or has information about those responsible to contact Dorset Police.

"I would also like to hear from anyone who knows of the whereabouts of the bikes or has been offered such items in strange circumstances or for an unusually low price."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101, quoting incident number 06:38. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
