Brewer & Son for the third prize; £50 from Mole Valley Farmers (SCATS) for the fourth prize. In addition valuable sponsorship was received from Woods Furniture, CW Motorcycles, and Poundbury Wealth Management.

Each of the charities took part by selling the tickets and received the sales they achieved back plus a 5% ‘bonus’ thanks to tickets sold by Rotary club members and the sponsors. The presentations were made by the Mayor of Dorchester Cllr Stella Jones – the evening being chaired by the club president, Ian Dominy, who in turn thanked member Laurie Benn for all his hard work in organising the raffle. The raffle for Christmas 2014 is already being developed and any charity wishing to benefit should contact the Rotary Club.
