Good Grafiti In Dorchester

Swanage graffiti Jan 2103 1

8:22am 25th January 2014

A good graffiti project which aims to reduce vandalism and damage in Dorchester starts today.

Network Rail are allowing young artists to use the wall under the railway bridge along Damers Road to get creative.

Local artist Pete Sheridan will be in charge of the workshop.

He's added a slight twist.

" Instead of painting on the wall we're going to be taking dirt off.  In the same way you can right on a dirty van.  Will be making an image that way.  This won't use any paint and it will be easily removed which makes it more organic."

The projects is running from 10am to 4pm today.
