Do you own a collection of representations of Thomas Hardy's poems and haven't noticed they're missing?
Police in Dorchester have a collection of them written in original calligraphy on white card measuring 36cm x 41 cm.
About 50 representations of the Hardy poems were seized by officers on 2 January 2014.
Police believe they may have been stolen but the owner hasn’t yet been identified.
Police Constable Mark Powell, of Dorchester police, said:
“We hope that someone recognises them from the image and will help us to find the rightful owner.
“It is possible that they have been stolen and the owner has not yet realised that they are missing.
“Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any information that may assist with my investigation.”
Anyone with information should contact Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 02:308n or anonymously Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
