Three Injured In Swanage Crash

Three people have been injured after being hit by a car in Swanage.

The incident happened on Station Road just before 10am yesterday morning.

One of the people involved, an 85-year-old woman, had to be removed from the underneath a black Suzuki 4x4.

Police Constable Timothy Brehmer, of Dorset Police's Traffic Unit, said: "The road was closed for a number of hours in order for officers to conduct a forensic examination of the scene and safely recover the involved vehicle.

"I am appealing for any witnesses and anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police.

"I am particularly keen to talk to the driver of a blue Mercedes van, who stopped at the scene when the collision occurred as this motorist may have witnessed exactly what happened."
