New Website Launched To Train Dorset Workers

A new website's been launched aimed at developing the skills of employees in Dorset.
www.skillssupportfortheworkforce.co.uk has been put together by the Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership and Serco Vocational Training.
They're working together to allocate nearly £900,000 of European funding to help employees in Dorset acquire vital skills to help business growth in the county.
The money will provide workplace learning courses at no cost to small and medium sized businesses in the following sectors:
- Food and Drink
- Health and Social Care
- Creative Industries
- Finance and Banking
Geoffrey Smith - Dorset LEP Board Member and Chair of the ESB said:
"Part of our skills support for the workforce campaign is the ensure people in the county have the right skills to meet the needs of the growing businesses across the area."
