Rotary Launch Fund To Help Flood Victims

Rotary Clubs in Dorset, including Dorchester, Weymouth , Portland and Bridport have launched an appeal fund to help flood victims.

They're asking for financial donations.

Local rotary spokesman Peter Noble told Wessex FM:

"It may be small help but it's the sort of thing families might need whether its clothes or bedding.  And the other thing we do as an organisation is physically help, so we would be able to go along and join in a clean-up operation."

Rotary have set up a District Fund and have already received a number of donations including direct support from Disaster Aid UK & Ireland, a long standing Rotary Partner.

Donations can be made to the District Treasurer (remember to Gift Aid if appropriate).  

Please make cheques payable to; Rotary International, District 1200 Charity Account and marked "Flood Relief" and send the donation to:
