Wessex Water are telling customers that their bills will go down in real terms over the next 6 years.

They've submitted their business plan to Ofwat for 2015-20 and have proposed to keep prices below inflation while continuing to invest in improving water and sewerage services.

Wessex Water say the average household bill in 2019 - 20 will be £454 compared to the current bill of £479 a year.

The move follows the company's biggest customer consultation exercise which involved getting the views of more than 21,000 customers and 90 stakeholders.
