Knowing the signs of cancer could save your life, that's the stark message from Dorset's NHS.

Local GP's are asking more people to learn about the signs and symptoms.

Around 5000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year in the county.

Professionals say they don't want people to feel bad about getting checked out, if it turns out they have the all clear. Peace of mind and early diagnosis is the main thing.
