Man In Digger Plunges Into Water

A man's been airlifted to Southampton General Hospital after the digger he was driving plunged 20 feet into water on Portland.

The incident happened around 3.45pm yesterday afternoon at Castletown.  

Fire crews, the coastguard and paramedics worked to free him.

He's said to have sustained serious injuries.
