Concerns Over Rubbish Bags on Chesil

Chesil Beach Bags 3

7:46am 4th March 2014
(Updated 7:47am 4th March 2014)

Wessex FM's been told plastic bags filled with rubbish after the storms still need to be cleared from Chesil Beach.

Tim Limbach has spotted them near the sailing academy and down towards the visitor centre.

He thinks they've been left there by volunteers because they are too heavy to move and it's a long way from the skip.

"There are hundreds of plastic bags which looks as though they might be sealed.  It really needs somebody to come with some sort of truck that can drive on the pebbles.  If we have another storm they might end up back in the sea."
