Pupils Talking Climate Change and Future of Bridport

7:35am 5th March 2014

School pupils from across West Dorset are getting together in Bridport today to talk about what environmental challenges the town is facing.

They'll be asked for their thoughts on tackling severe weather, like the recent floods, where food could come from and what we should be doing with our waste.

15 pupils will be taking part from Sir John Colfox, St Mary's, Bridport Primary, Powerstock and Symondsbury.

Today's event coincides with Climate Week and is part of a project called Communities Living Sustainably in Dorset.

Representatives from local council's will also be going along to see how they get on.
