Done Deal for Dorset Bus Drivers
7:53am 6th March 2014
Bus Drivers working for First in Weymouth and Bridport have accepted a pay deal.
Workers belonging to the Unite union were balloted on Monday.
They'd been unhappy with regional differences over pay which had led to several strikes.
Marc Reddy, Managing Director, First Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire, said of the ballot result: "We are delighted that members of Unite have accepted the revised offer by two to one in favour. We were always open to negotiations with the union and we believe our continued discussions have helped to bring about a satisfactory resolution."
