Green Fingered Youngsters Create Mini Gardens

Children have been getting their hands dirty creating their own unique mini-gardens for charity in West Dorset.

Groves Nurseries in Bridport and Beaminster donated goods and equipment to Schools taking part and their creations are now on display at the garden centres.

Visitors can donate money to their favourite garden and funds go to the Greenfingers Charity that builds gardens for children's hospices in the UK.

Said Charlie Groves of Groves Nurseries “We are very keen to get involved with local schools and hopefully encourage the students to enjoy the pleasures of gardening, while at the same time raising money for a very good cause. The mini gardens are quite stunning and unique. There are clearly some potential gardeners at our local schools!”
