Holy Trinity Primary School Celebrates World Book Day

Holy Trinity

9:09am 11th March 2014

Holy Trinity Primary School celebrated World Book Day by inviting the sponsors of their "Buy A Book Campaign" into school. Nick Limm, Nigel Fellows, of Bay Publishing, Karen Pearce of Alf's Fish & Chips and Micky Jones of DJ Properties were welcomed by pupils, staff and Governors and given a tour of the school.

The highlight of the tour was the specially created "Jungle" which had been made by the pupils and staff to celebrate World Book Day.

The pupils and staff were dressed in Jungle attire for the day and the guests were invited to listen to one class's poetry lesson.  All the new reading books were available for the pupils to read and share, and the sponsors heard from the pupils and staff how delighted they were with the new books, and how they appreciated the donations that had been made to the Campaign.

Holy Trinity intends to continue the investment in further reading books and have decided to continue to seek donations. If you would like to donate to the "Buy A Book Campaign", please contact Mrs Pye at Holy Trinity School on 01305 783200.
