Planning Rules Relaxed On Old Farm Buildings

It's now easier for farmers in Dorset to make better use of old redundant buildings on their property.
Changes made by Planning Minister Nick Boles, now allows under-used agricultural out-buildings to be converted into homes, schools or nurseries.
Rules around the issue had previously been covered in red tape.
It's hoped the move will help landowners make the most of their assets while preserving the character of the Dorset countryside.
