There will be food stalls from the Crab house Cafe, Jalopy Pizza, Jurassic Seafood Olives et Al, and more. There will also be crabbing competitions held on both ays of teh weekend for children.
Wessex FM spoke to Assistant Marine Manager at Portland Marina, Paul Swain, who is helping to organise the event, "There's been some very good publicity for Portland - the Olympics, and some very bad publicity- the storms we've been having, I think Portland Fish & Ships is a very good opportunity for people to come down and see what we've actually had to endure and see that the local businesses have survived better than ever."
The event will be on over the weekend of the 12th & 13th of April, with live local music on the Friday and Saturday evenings.
