8:04am 19th March 2014
Parents and their children are set to be affected by teachers going on strike in Dorset next week.
The National Union of Teachers has announced their members are walking out in the continuing row over pay, changes to their contracts and workload.
A number of local schools are expected to be affected by the strike next Wednesday (26th March) with some tipped to close or partially close.
Dorset's NUT say they want to press the Secretary for Education to engage in meaningful talks on teachers' pay, pensions, recruitment, workload and the education system.
