Care Business Expands in Dorset
7:32am 21st March 2014
Bluebird Care is celebrating the opening of its new offices in Dorchester.
The new premises on Bridport Road in Poundbury will help provide a care at home service to older people and adults with physical or learning disabilities across Dorset.
Bluebird Care Director Chris Scriven said: "The opening of the new office will ensure that we are more accessible to residents of the County Town and the surrounding villages. We expect it will bring more jobs to the area as we seek out those with a passion and commitment to improve the lives of older and vulnerable people."
Bluebird care recently received an award in the South West region of the Great British Care Awards in the "Care Innovators" category. This means they have now progressed to the national finals in April.
Fellow Director, Joanne McMahon said: "Our aim is to ensure that all our customers remain independent for as long as possible. The service we provide is about helping people to ensure they are in control of their lives and that the care they receive is as natural and unobtrusive as possible."
The company also has plans to open two more offices in Purbeck and North Dorset.
