A Wareham Cinema is doing a special screening this morning for Autism sufferers.

The Rex will be showing RIO 2 but with low sound and lighting and viewers will be able to move around if they need to.

The special screening comes as part of World Autism Awareness Day which was held this week.

David Evans, Rex Chair commented,  "We endeavour to make film accessible to everyone, and as a community cinema feel we are very well placed to do this with support from such initiatives. We would be looking towards holding autism friendly screenings on a regular basis in the future and look forward to the response to this event."
