Two Bridport Teens In Intensive Care After Taking Illegal Drug

Blue Pill

(Updated 12:47pm 8th April 2014)

Two teenage girls in Bridport have ended up in intensive care after taking a highly dangerous illegal drug.

In two separate incidents both girls had taken a blue tablet called 2C-I.

One of them ended up unconscious.

Police believe a batch of the Class A hallucinogenic drug is now circulating the town.

They're warning anyone who is in possession of these tablets to either dispose of them or hand them into the Police so they can be analysed.

Mindy Crispy from Dorset's Essential Drug and Alcohol Service told us drugs purchased off the street and online are sometimes more lethal, because consumers just don't know what they contain;

"Unfortunately we do see some of our clients and clients to be, ending up in A+ E departments, with severe injuries, internal bleeding, and accidents relating to their drug use, you just don't know what can happen to you when you take drugs."
