Merlin’s Day Of Magic Making!
3:56pm 14th April 2014
Over 100 children, parents and guardians visited Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park on Friday 11th April for a special treat to celebrate the 100th opening of a Merlin attraction tied in with Merlin’s Magic Wand charity.
Children from Westfield School, Wyvern School, Julia’s House, Regard for Children, Diverse Abilities Plus and those nominated by family or friends were invited to the Park for the special day and received an array of goodies.
SEA LIFE VIP lanyards were given to attendees to wear and soft toys, juice from Innocent Smoothies, sandwiches from Manor Foods were given as a treat including activities to complete on the day such as Dive Adventure Logbooks, Moshi Monsters Quiz trail and Moshling hunt!
VIP Eden Miller from Poole loved the Interactive Rockpool and sat with SEA LIFE team member Kieran to view a crab and was even brave enough to stroke one!
Moshi Monsters Poppet, Katsuma and Buster Bumblechops were available for meet and greets and plenty of photos. A quiet area was set-up at the ‘Wetlands’ area of the Park for VIP guests to relax and take in the nature around the pond.
Sean, Jon and Ryan Pestall were invited and had travelled from Wimborne. They particularly loved the Croc Creek ride on the Park. “The Crocodile ride was awesome, I am soaked but it was so worth it!” said Sean.
