Why do we eat Chocolate eggs at Easter?
Many of us recognise the significance of Hot Cross Buns, but children eating Easter Eggs may not get the connection.
Rev Jo Neary, who's Team Vicar in the Beaminster Team Ministry and based at Broadwindsor, has been explaining the link to Wessex FM.
She says the eggs are the shape of the boulder pushed away from the front of the tomb where Christ lay after his crucificion, but found to have risen from, to be born again, and eggs from chickens signify that new life.
