Appeal Out After Fail To Stop Accident In Weymouth

Police in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a fail to stop accident in the town.
The incident happened around 9am on Friday 11 April 2014 on Granby Way.
A white Peugeot Expert 1200 and a grey Skoda Fabia were travelling along the road when another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction overtook the line of traffic at speed. This vehicle then braked hard causing the Peugeot and Skoda to brake also. The Skoda and the Peugeot then collided.
The Skoda suffered front end damage and had to be recovered. The Peugeot received minor damage.
The driver of the overtaking vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Police Sergeant Scott Mcfarland, of Weymouth police, told Wessex FM: "I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police.
"The overtaking vehicle is believed to be an estate-style Subaru Imprezza, possibly grey or silver in colour. I would like to speak with the driver of this vehicle to ascertain exactly what happened."
