Dorset's PCC Welcomes U Turn On Homicide Bereavement Funding

Dorset's Police and Crime Commission has welcomed a U-turn by the Government over a decision to cut support to families of people murdered before 2010.
Martyn Underhill wrote to the Policing Minister, Damian Green back in March.
Mr Underhill says he found it incomprehensible that funding could have been taken away from bereaved families.
He told Wessex FM:
"It is essential that those bereaved through homicide should be supported to help them come to terms with their loss and move on with their lives."
