Young Farmers To Ride 320 Miles For Charity
8:22am 5th May 2014
Three young farmers from Dorset are preparing to cycle 320 miles in support of a local children's charity.
The trio from the Young Farmer's Club will be leaving Swanage Pier at 8am on Tuesday morning, hoping to attend the group's annual meeting in Blackpool on Wednesday evening.
It's all in aid of The Amelia-Grace Rainbow Fund, a local charity which provides grants to help young people with terminal, life-limiting and serious chronic illnesses.
Joshua Fincham, who set up the fundraiser, said: "I lost a friend when I was younger from cancer and I think it's such a great charity to help the people who are suffering, to give them something fun to look forward to.
"They provide days out for local children and they also have a beach hut which they provide so families can have a day out with the children."
