Another larger than life jellyfish has been found washed up in South Dorset.
The grey creature that's about 3 foot across in diameter and with "large tentacles" was found between Greenhill and the Sea Palace in Weymouth yesterday afternoon.
Julie Loyd was going for a stroll at low tide when she nearly trod on the sea creature, she says it came as quite a shock;
"I was just going for a walk along the beach looking for pebbles and shells and then I saw this huge jelly like creature being washed up among the waves."
"It really was by far the most exciting thing I’ve ever found on Weymouth beach"
Over a dozen of unusually large Barrel Jellyfish have been found on the beaches around Portland in the last week.
Dorset marine expert Steven Trewella who discovered them told us the Weymouth find is the same kind.
