Labour Reveal Plans For Weymouth

Labour have revealed their priorities for the coming year in Weymouth and Portland.
Their leader Colin Huckle told Wessex FM economic Development, town centre regeneration and Weymouth peninsular redevelopment will be their themes.
That's despite running a minority administration with 15 seats, 4 short of that needed for an overall majority.
The Conservatives are the next largest group with 11 councillors. Their leader Mike Goodman says they won't organise a coalition of 'others' to depose Labour. He was also cagey when asked by Wessex FM if they would work with the borough's first ever UKIP councillor, Francis Drake, who unseated Mayor Ray Banham in Melcome Regis ward.
The Lib Dems now have 6 seats and there are also 3 independents.
