8:11am 4th June 2014

Police think a missing grandmother from Milton Keynes could be in Weymouth.

More than 40 volunteers have been involved in the search for 74-year-old Patricia Davies who was last seen on Friday.

She's 5ft 2ins tall, with light brown and short wavy hair, hazel eyes and has a scar on her right brow.

She usually wears glasses and earrings.

She was last seen wearing a grey coat, black trousers, black shoes with a small heel and large A4-style handbag.

Her granddaughter Emma has been in contact with Wessex FM to ask us to put out an appeal.

Her family are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and are asking her to get in touch so they know she's OK.

Investigating officer, Det Insp David Dachtler said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Patricia's welfare as she has been missing for more than 48 hours now.

"If Patricia is reading this, please get in touch with police so we know you are safe and well."

If anyone has any information regarding Patricia's whereabouts please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
