Dorset School Children Getting a Head Start in Money Matters

Money's on the timetable at schools across Dorchester this week.
It's My Money Week, the aim being to give children a head start in financial education before it becomes part of the new National Curriculum in September.
Teachers in the town will have access to education charity PFEG (Personal Finance Education Group)'s free My Money Week online resources and training, full of creative, engaging activities and ideas for how deliver financial education to youngsters aged from 4 to 19.
Tracey Bleakley, PFEG chief Executive told Wessex FM:
"Last year My Money Week helped 1.3.million young people across the country learn more about managing money- something that we know is going to be so important to their life prospects in the future.
I hope that every school in and around Dorchester will get involved in My Money Week this year, using our free support and resources."
