Person Warned Over Leaving Angry Notes on Peoples Cars in Dorchester

Dorset Police Car 2

8:44am 13th June 2014

A resident who left parked motorists "intimidating" notes on their windscreens, has had to be warned by Dorchester Police.

A number of complaints were made to the force after vehicle owners returned to find the messages tucked under the wipers.

Police visited the resident and say "they strongly advised them about their actions."

Officers say those parking their cars were doing so legally:

"Those parking their vehicles in the area have every right to do so and shouldn't find themselves being intimidated. However, please be mindful of local residents and ensure that your vehicle doesn’t cause any obstructions."
