Barn Fire Martinstown UPDATE
12:18pm 21st June 2014
Firefighters will return to the scene of a barn fire in Martinstown this afternoon to assess the damage and to damp down.
As Wessex FM reported yesterday, smoke from the blaze at Church Farm could be seen for miles around.
Dorset Fire and Rescue say the barn's contents including hay, straw, animal feed, wheat, soya rapeseed and an agricultural vehicle were badly damaged.
A lorry was destroyed but nobody was injured nor any animals hurt.
