If you or the family are into cycling there's an opportunity for you to get a free bike check in Weymouth today (22nd June).
It's all part of National Bike Week and a session at County Hall in Dorchester this week saw over 30 people turn out to get their wheels checked out.
You can drop your bike off with the team at Westham Bridge Cycle Park between 10:30am and 3pm.
Dorset County Council's Cabinet member for environment and the economy Peter Finney said the free sessions are for everyone:
"Cycling is a great way of getting around; it gets you fit and saves you money. Bike Week is not just for established cyclists, it's about promoting cycling for everyone and showing just how easily riding can become part of everyday life."
To celebrate bike week the new Weymouth Way shared path was officially opened. The two-mile (3km) route joins together Weymouth town centre with the Relief Road cycle path.
Bike Week is the biggest nationwide cycling event in the UK, and encourages over half a million people to join in events, rethink their everyday journeys and switch to cycling as the most convenient way to get around.
