Seagulls Blamed For Rubbish in Weymouth Road

Rubbish Gulls Weymouth

8:29am 28th June 2014

A Weymouth road was left strewn with rubbish yesterday after a flock of seagulls attacked black bin bags left out in the street.

Road sweepers had to do the clearing up in Ranelagh Road.

Dorset Waste Partnership say it's a regular problem in the Park District - as people don't use seagull proof bags.

They're warning when the new recycling system comes in in the Autumn - households will have to use specialist sacks they're given - and any extra black bags left out won't be collected.
