Kayak Washed Up On Dorset Beach

10:12am 28th June 2014

Have you lost a kayak? One was washed up in Poole harbour,  burgundy in colour with a cream base.

Portland Coastguards believe it may have come in on spring tides as they've got no record of any missing or overdue people.

Coastguard rescue officers and the Portland Marina Rib also went to help a kitesurfer in difficulties off Portland harbour but he managed to make his way to shore.

A female windsurfer seen drifting out to sea, unable to get back on board and raise her sail off Knoll beach, Studland, yesterday evening, was helped  back to the beach by the Swanage RNLI inshore lifeboat.
