Window Removed in Dorchester Supermarket Raid

CoOp

7:40am 1st July 2014

Audacious thieves have cut and removed a glass window from a shop in Dorchester, before stealing hundreds of pounds worth of goods.

The Co-Op off Trinity Street was hit overnight and raiders stole loads of cigarettes and caused extensive damage in the process.

The quick service till area has had to be shut-off and customers won't be able to buy cigarettes today (Tuesday 1st June).

The shops manager told Wessex FM earlier, the raid would have a "huge effect on customers", and she apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Dorset Police is investigating.
