Catalytic Convertor Thieves Target Dorchester

1:15pm 1st July 2014

Drivers in Dorchester are being warned to do what they can to stop thieves getting under their cars.

The advice from the Police comes after a spate of catalytic convertor thefts on Friday.

They're being taken because of the high value of the metal.

Police in Dorchester say they're currently working with their colleagues in North Dorset who have also seen a rise in  thefts of catalytic convertors.

The Police's intelligence unit are trying to identify not only who's stealing them, but also the people who are being them.
