Young People's Bereavement Charity Gets Cash Boost
8:06am 7th July 2014
A charity that supports bereaved children, young people and their families in Dorset, has received a welcome boost.
Mosaic is a county wide charity offering a pathway of support to bereaved children, young people and their families. We also work with young people who are facing the death of a loved one.
The charity provides individual, family and group support. Every child has the opportunity to attend our residential weekend programme where they can meet others and share their experiences.
The Society of Dorset Men have donated £300 to Mosaic that's based in Milborne St Andrew.
Society Vice Chairman Andrew Prowse told us why they chose to support the charity:
"Bereavement is a very, very difficult area, grief is a very difficult to handle. If we can just ease that process in a small way, we don't have much money to give away, but if we can just help a Dorset based charity in a small way, we're grateful to do that."
