20th Century Fox Team Up with Dorset Fire Service to Deliver Safety Message

Cinema

12:35pm 9th July 2014

Children from Greenford Primary School have been learning all about "training their families" and their dragons!

The youngsters were treated to a special screening of the Hollywood blockbuster How to Train Your Dragon 2 at the Plaza this morning (Wednesday 9th July).

But it wasn't all cinematic viewing, the movie was organised by Dorset Fire and Rescue who gave the kids an important fire safety message before the lights went down.

Dorset Fire Chief is Darren Gunter says blending a fun activity with a serious message is a great way to engage the young children:

"Today is one of those great examples where children will remember a great film and some great learning messages from that. They'll go home and talk with their family and friends about the film and the associated fire safety messages as well."
