It happened on Friday 27th June at around 4.17pm when in a communal car park in Douglas Road.

Police Constable Andrew Thomson, of Weymouth CID, said: "This was a very upsetting incident for the victim and caused a significant amount of damage to the car. I urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward."

A 33 year-old man from Weymouth has been arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
