Fireworks and Anti-Social Driving won't be Tolerated at West Bay

Police are trying to crackdown on anti-social "boy racers" at West Bay.
A number of incidents have been reported of cars were screeching and skidding around the National trust Car Park by the beach.
Reports of fireworks being let off late at night has also prompted the Police response.
Bridport Inspector Mike Derby says they'll be making more trips to the seafront in the evenings:
"This is not a new thing and we're quite happy that people go about their lawful business and behave themselves. Obviously when their behaviour starts upsetting people at 10 o'clock late at night when people may have gone to bed, that's clearly inappropriate and we're gonna do something about it."
"Whilst most of the time they're sitting there quite happily and lawfully, chatting and being quiet, occasionally they do anti-social driving. I understand there have been incidents where fireworks have been let off. Of course it's a residential area and it upsets residents who live there and clearly that's anti-social behaviour."
