8:20am 23rd July 2014
Dorset's first ever 'Eco Living Fair' is being held in Dorchester this weekend.
Sustainable development charity, Dorset Agenda 21 (da21) is holding the event this Saturday (26th July) on the Great Field, Poundbury.
The fair is an opportunity for companies, groups and individuals to exhibit their sustainable products and services.
Spokesperson for the event, Carol Longman told us what’s on offer to visitors;
''They’ll be lots of money saving tips for cheaper energy, lots of food and drink and craft stalls with some really unusual products.''
Andrew Barker, Trustee Chairman for da21 said they aim to promote a greener future.
''We have a wide range of stallholders with everything from straw bale construction, renewable energy alternatives and eco-friendly transport such as electric bikes.
He also added that there will be organic farm produce, cider and a folk band.
The FREE fair is focused on keeping Dorset one of the greenest counties in the country through sustainable living and to raise awareness of the greener living options available to us all.
