Attempted Robbery In Weymouth

A man's been the victim of an attempted robbery in Weymouth.
Police say it happened around 6.20pm last Thursday when the 19-year-old was walking down the alleyway from the Marsh Playing fields to Southview Road.
A man tried to steal his mobile phone then ran off.
Police Constable Andy Dickinson, of Weymouth police, said: "I am keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information about the offender.
"It is believed that the same suspect committed another assault on the Marsh playing fields just prior to this attack.
Enquiries have revealed that a man was pushed off his bicycle and punched in the face. This victim has not reported this crime - I urge him to come forward.
"Any witnesses to either incident are asked to contact Dorset police on 101 as soon as possible."
The offender is described as a white man, approximately five feet eleven inches tall, about 19 years old and of slim build. He has brown hair and a tufty beard. He was wearing a grey beanie hat, grey jogging bottoms, a grey and white hooded top and was carrying a black mini bag across his chest.
