Police Appeal After Fatal Accident

Dorset Police are asking for any witnesses to yesterday's fatal accident on the A31 to come forward.
The collision, in which a grey and white Fiat Autorail motorhome was in a collision with a yellow DAF tipper truck, happened on the A31 outside the Wimborne Service Station, near Wimborne.
Sadly the driver of the motorhome, a man in his 60s from Fareham, died at the scene. His wife, a woman in her 60s, who was the front seat passenger of the motorhome, was airlifted to Southampton hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The driver of the tipper truck, a man in his 40s from Weymouth, was taken to Poole hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
He was working for Dorset County Council, who've issued this statement to Wessex FM:
"The members of Dorset County Council would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of the man who died and our hope that those injured in the crash make a full and speedy recovery."
