Motor Neurone Fundraiser In Weymouth
12:00am 27th July 2014
The son of a well-known drummer from Weymouth is doing a special fundraising challenge today, in memory of his Dad.
Samuel Bates and his family are doing a sponsored walk from Weymouth Pavilion.
"We're going to stop at Oasis and have some cakes donated by the Dorset Cake Company. And then walk back. It's a 5 mile walk for the MND Association to help think of a cure."
Samuel's Dad Spencer died from Motor Neurone Disease in 2011 aged 49.
During the time he was diagnosed he raised £30,000 to help local sufferers of MND.
